Section 3

Please provide information about the various contact people at your library.

Official NELINET Contact for your library/organization:
The person authorized to act on behalf of your institution for the purpose of voting on network issues (Voting Members) and committing the library to the purchase and payment of NELINET services.

Official NELINET Billing Contact for your library/organization:
The person who receives monthly statements and/or invoices. We will send this data to the Official NELINET Contact for your library/organization unless another name appears in this field.

Cataloging, Interlibrary Loan, and Reference Contacts are requested so that timely information can be sent directly to specific departments.

Section 4
Is your library a Tax Exempt institution? If yes, please enter the Certificate number and enclose a copy.

Section 5
How are you paying for your membership? Do you wish NELINET to issue an invoice or list a purchase order number on the paperwork?

Payment options for products and services once you become a member:

All NELINET members may set up deposit accounts. Members using OCLC are encouraged to do so in order to receive discounts on services (See the OCLC Participation application for more details).

Some NELINET services (i.e., workshops) require prepayment and the deposit account can assist member libraries by ensuring that money is available for these expenses. Members can add money to their deposit account at any time. All libraries receive invoices each month listing expenses. Libraries with deposit accounts keep these for informational purposes. All libraries also receive statements showing the status of their account as of the last day of the month.

If you have any questions about applying for NELINET Membership, please contact Tim Rivard (1.800.635.4638 x1949 or rivard@nelinet.net).
