| Description: |
Experienced catalogers currently using Passport and
CatME will want to learn how to catalog on OCLC using the new Connexion
Client software. The Client software is replacing Passport and CatME
soon, and catalogers can begin the transition by attending this
course. This course will cover how to use the Client for basic OCLC
cataloging functionality such as searching, editing, exporting,
using the save file, adding holdings to OCLC, printing labels, and
creating original and derived records, as well as features new to
Connexion such as controlling headings. The course will also introduce
time saving features such as constant data, macros, text strings,
batch processing, local files, and offline editing. |
