Description: If you want to improve the overall look and feel of your Web site, dramatically decrease download times and simplify site maintenance nothing works better than CSS. CSS is a style sheet language that allows Web page authors to attach styles, such as fonts, spacing, and positioning to structured HTML documents. CSS separates the coding for the presentation or "look" of documents from their content. In this course we will consider the benefits of Web design with CSS, introduce the basic syntax and structure of CSS, and CSS properties, review the use of CSS in examples and complete exercises using CSS.
You will learn about:
  • Using CSS to make your HTML easier to read and maintain
  • How to simplify making changes later on to your site's design
  • Getting rid of tables for site layout
