| Description: |
This hands-on course focuses on the steps basic to a successful
OCLC interlibrary loan using the ILL Web interface. Utilizing the
features of ILL Web, this course provides an excellent transition
to the FirstSearch/ILL Staff View, the new OCLC interface to be
fully released in mid-2005. The course will also include an update
and a demonstration of the new FirstSearch/ILL Staff View, which
is very similar to ILL Web.
Designed for new and inexperienced users of the OCLC Interlibrary
Loan Service that do not anticipate high volumes of OCLC ILL activity
or who experience capability issues with OCLC Passport Software
and their current PC operating system. Not recommended for users
in ILLiad libraries.
