| Description: |
MARC (Machine-Readable Cataloging) is the basis for bibliographic
records in OCLC and most local systems. This course is a basic introduction
to reading, understanding, and using MARC. With this knowledge you
are better able to understand the indexing and access structure
of bibliographic databases. |

- MARC tag groups
- MARC fields and subfields
