Digital Divide Data works with digital libraries to
bring their archives online. A variety of services are offered including
double-keying, tagging/markup (in TEI and custom DTDs), OCR cleanup,
scanning and cropping. They also have specialized offerings for digitizing
newspapers. Documents can either be received as original via mail
or in their electronic format through ftp, email, zip disk or compact
disk. Arrangements can also be made for onsite/local scanning of originals
or microfilm, if desired.

capacity availability. Digital Divide Data can usually accommodate

After receiving a custom quote from Digital Divide Data, the following
form must be completed for the invoice to be paid from the institution's
