| OCLC Enhance Program |
The Enhance Program
is designed to allow skilled catalogers to improve the quality of
the OCLC WorldCat database by upgrading WorldCat records, primarily
from less-than-full level to full level. Libraries apply to the program,
submitting an application and sample records which are evaluated for
quality. When a library is accepted into the Enhance Program, the
library is given an Enhance authorization. This is a higher level
authorization, which gives the library editing permissions not available
to normal (full) cataloging authorizations. Enhance participants agree
to follow Enhance Program guidelines, and adhere to the goal of contributing
to the enhancement of the OCLC WorldCat database.
For more information, visit the OCLC
WorldCat Documentation Web Page and scroll down to Enhance section. |
