Reports and Statistics |
OCLC Connexion Statistics
Statistical
reports of OCLC Connexion cataloging activity are available on the
OCLC Usage Statistics website.
FirstSearch, Open WorldCat, and Resource Sharing statistics are also
available here.
These statistical reports are automatically delivered to all
institutions free of charge. They report ONLY activity in OCLC Connexion
(Client and Browser.) OCLC plans to keep the most recent 18 months
of activity available.
Log in with a valid authorization for your
institution and select the tab for Online Cataloging.
OCLC Connexion cataloging statistics are
available for the institution (OCLC symbol) as a whole, and also
for each authorization number belonging to the institution symbol.
Reports can be exported to a spreadsheet, and also emailed.
These
reports replace the OCLC System Usage Statistics that were formerly
available by subscription. The earlier statistical reports, reporting
cataloging activity from the old OCLC system, have been discontinued. |
NELINET
Online Detailed Invoice
View your detailed monthly NELINET OCLC invoice for quantities, unit
pricing, and total amounts representing OCLC activity. Copy and paste
to a spreadsheet for further analysis of both quantities produced
and money spent.
Access is restricted to your institution and controlled by a login
and password given to your institution. Consult with your Director
or NELINET Official Billing Representative, to whom logins were distributed.

OCLC
OPUS (OCLC Product Usage Statistics)
These statistical reports replace the MTRS paper statistical reports
with an online report which delivers the same basic information.
OPUS reports are delivered to all OCLC online users at no charge.
Reports can be viewed and printed, or downloaded to a spreadsheet.
OPUS provide a comparison of OCLC online activities between the current
year and the previous year, as well as showing the number of transactions
for each product code for OCLC online activities. Cataloging, interlibrary
loan, and union list statistics are included and for each product
code the report shows the percentage change from the previous year.
OPUS is updated monthly. The year begins with
July, and for the current year future months show zero activity.
OPUS is cumulative, so the year-end (June) report is the most complete,
and shows activity for two years for all months.
OPUS show the same product codes and transactions for OCLC online
activity that appear on the NELINET Online Detailed Invoice, but
are useful for seeing comparative trends between months and current
and previous years. |
